Directed legendary NBA point guard Russell Westbrook in the latest #WhyNot ad for NIKE Jordan brand and Wieden Kennedy. Special effects using the Phantom camera on the Bolt high-speed cienbot. Produced by Phil Erney, cinematography by Vikash Nowlakha, music by J.I.D.
In hindsight, I think @tbwachiatny @activision @mountaindew should’ve made me pay them to direct this one. Everything I love about filmmaking + 11 years of CoD playing all squeezed into a 30 second longtake. Motioncaptured with the good folk of Animatrik Studios and the 92 Olympic Dream Team of CG talents.
Had the incredible fortune to spend Spring Training in Florida with America’s hardest working team — the Minnesota Twins. Also had the opportunity to work with the super-talented Carmichael Lynch team as well as the gorgeous brains of Wolf & Crow.
And got to direct half of the work in Spanish, much to the joy (and ridicule) of the Spanish-speaking players.
Filmed in Prague Cz, with an incredible cast, 800 candles, a giant mudcrab, and the amazing team from Hammer Creative.
**Featured in Forbes Magazine for having the highest Youtube watch-through rate of any 2 minute video.
Such a joyous project working with best friend and legend Sam Harris.
More divertido from W+K LATAM. Special props to Terry Crews for bringing his 1000% to this shoot just like he does every day of his life.
The second spot in a glorious run with the good folks of @tbwachiatny @activision and @mountaindew. Great to be operating in the world of @CallofDuty again, and proving to my Mom once more that all those hours I spent gaming as a kid, were indeed necessary.
Directed Terry Crews in this fan-kicking, head-exploding, action-packed Old Spice ad for Saatchi & Saatchi EMEA. Produced by Phil Erney, Cinematography by Stacy Toyama.
¡Que divertido, Mini Joe! Worked with W+K Latin America on this series with Terry. Or as he’s known south of the border — Joe.
